Hi, hey and hello! 

   I am Haroutioun Derderian, an enthusiastic person with beliefs in education equality and the responsibility to provide a safe and suitable environment for children and young people to grow and learn. A character-driven by solid knowledge about childhood theories and concrete experience with different age-levelled children. A positive attitude, loyal to commitments, predictive insight and well planned when it comes to fulfilling my tasks and performance expectations. 

   The first statement my colleagues may confirm; "He's hugely passionate about working with children. His students admire him, and he is close to them, to the level that you cannot decide who the child is!" And that is my core strength without breaking or crossing the boundaries between myself as an Educator and my children as students. I do my best to understand their concerns and fears, study their character and mentality, learn their needs, stay their mentor regardless of the choices they make - the right or wrong choice - and primarily; have faith in them. 

   "I want to be a Teacher!", that was my clear answer when my teacher asked us about our future career while we were in sixth grade. I believe that working with children cannot be assessed by academic knowledge only, but dealing with them is an art. Like any masterpiece in the world, there is a mysterious touch that keeps you attracted to it—the same in the relationship between the educator and students. There is unique magic which makes the students prefer specific educators to others and remember a limited number of teachers' names. It is a various combination of different skills such as body language, adjustable voice projection, good listener more than a speaker, but the fundamental piece in this puzzle is understanding children and young people's internal culture and their world of unspoken rules.
